If you're not taking care of you then what are you really doing? A self-care day should be implemented in your routine at least once a week if possible. Self-care doesn't have to be super expensive or time consuming. Your self care day is simply catered to you and taking care of yourself. Here I'm going to share some of my favorite ways to enjoy my self care day!
When planning your self-care day or time, ask yourself ... how do I want to take care of myself today? That can be simply taking a warm bath with a relaxing candle like our Affirmation candle: I am aligned or I attract: . Reading a book with some soothing music playing while burning Sunday Morning or our Affirmation candle: I've Got This? Start planning your self care day before so that way you're prepared and not having to stress about what will go on that day.
Set The Mood
Start by setting the mood, lighting your candle and running your bath can be the start!
Unplug and unwind
Disconnect from social media, any kind of screen time, or distractions. Be intentional and present in the moment.
Pamper Yourself
Run a warm bath or do a quick skincare routine. Add your candle to the mix for a spa-like feel. Scents like Skin, Relax, Orchid Bliss, Noir, and any of the affirmation candles that align with your mood at the time!
Decompress and relax
Relax, enjoy, reset, and take care of yourself.
